MR AND MRS EZINMA

Preamble: The radiography couple of the year award is presented to any Nigerian radiographer, in any part of the globe, who stand out the most in three areas: marriage to a fellow radiographer, a radiologist or physicist; active participation of the couple in the World Radiography Day activities on 8 of November;  and a romantic picture in the t-shirt of the WRD. This maiden edition of the award was clinched by Mr and Mrs Ezinma. Meet them.

Mr Michael Chinedum Ezinma is Assistant Director of Radiography (Nuclear  Medicine), University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria. He obtained a professional diploma from the Federal School of Radiography, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria as well as a B.Sc Radiography from Edinburg, UK. He is a native of  Isiala Ngwa local government area of Abia State, Nigeria.  In the Association of Radiographers of Nigeria (ARN), he was erstwhile chairman of the highly resourceful Oyo State branch.

He met his heartthrob,  Helen Omare Ezinma, from Delta State, at the Federal School of Radiography, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. She works in the same institution with him and currently is a Deputy Director (Diagnostic Radiography). She too has a B.Sc from Edinburgh. They were married on 5th  June, 1993.

Our award winning couple were nominated by a distinguished radiographer from their branch, Rad  Abdulssalam Abdulazeez.

The Awards Committee of the  ARN congratulates this couple for standing out indeed.
