About Nigeria Journal of Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy
The journal utilizes a double-blind peer review system.
Authors upload two files: The title page that includes all information of the authors/corresponding author, and the main article.
The main article does not have any information that could be used to identify the authors.
The paper submitted is first checked generally by the managing editor for compliance with the journal requirements,
which if when met, is then forwarded to the editor-in-chief for his assessment.
Those that pass the scrutiny of the editor-in-chief is sent back to the managing editor who then assigns a minimum of two and a maximum of three reviewers.
Reviewers are required to classify the papers into Accepted, minor revision, major revision, and rejection.
Successful papers are then sent back to the editor-in-chief for his final assessment and comment if any, before the author is notified of acceptance of the paper.
The entire process can last for a maximum of twelve weeks, depending on the response rate of the authors.
Upon acceptance, a publication fee of ₦10,000 is paid via www.remita.net and the receipt of payment sent to firstname.lastname@example.org for acknowledgement of payment.
